EduCel is a PreK-12 professional learning organization. We focus on achieving educational excellence by providing comprehensive, research-based, evidence-aligned, supports so that ALL students excel! We offer quality services that are specific to educators' needs and context, curriculum-based, data-driven, responsive, collaborative, vision aligned, and ensures that educators and staff at all levels are equipped and supported to create engaging, meaningful and highly effective learning environments where ALL students achieve at their fullest potential. We are also. program agnostic, supporting whatever program schools are currently implementing.
Research consistently informs us that instructional and leadership coaching (another form of PL/PD) can have a positive impact on student outcomes, with studies showing that well-designed coaching programs can significantly improve teacher and leader practice, leading to improved student achievement, particularly when coaching is focused on specific instructional and leadership strategies and delivered in a targeted and sustained manner. However, the effectiveness of coaching heavily depends on the quality of the coaching itself and the school environment that supports its implementation. EduCel is committed to offering quality, researched-based coaching and helps schools and districts create environments that support it.
EduCel believes that a healthy school culture is important. Such an environment creates a positive learning environment where students and staff feel safe, supported, and engaged, leading to improved academic achievement, better social development, increased student motivation, and a stronger sense of community. This ultimately results in overall student and staff well-being necessary for all to excel. Therefore, EduCel works with leaders and their teams to create a healthy culture.
Professional learning (PL) or professional development (PD), is considered highly important to improved student achievement, as research consistently shows that when teachers and leaders receive high-quality professional learning, it can significantly improve their practices and subsequently boost student learning outcomes. EduCel considers it an honor to partner with schools and districts to provide quality professional learning grounded in research on topics such as the Science of Reading/Foundational Literacy, Structured Literacy, effectively teaching Multilingual/English Language Learners , solutions for adolescent learners, the effective use of technology in the classroom and implementation science to ensure the intended results are achieved from adopted curriculum. .
Implementation science indicates that the quality of implementation significantly impacts student outcomes. Studies, for example, consistently show that higher fidelity to an intervention, meaning closer adherence to the designed program, leads to better student results compared to ineffective implementation where the program is not delivered as intended. Essentially, a well-implemented program is more likely to produce positive student outcomes than one with subpar implementation. Therefore, EduCel supports the quality implementation of trainings, adopted curriculum, and assessments used by our partners, which in turn helps both students and staff to be successful!
Studies have proven that high-quality curriculum, instruction, and assessments result in improved student achievement. This indicates that a well-designed curriculum can be a major factor in boosting student learning, particularly when aligned with effective teaching practices and relevant assessments that inform instruction and monitor progress. EduCel believes that this comprehensive approach can lead to substantial improvements in academic outcomes across all student populations and works with school and district teams to effectively implement their adopted programs.
